About This Role:

The School of Accountancy in the College of Business Administration at Kansas State University is seeking to hire a full-time instructor to teach in accounting beginning August 2024. The individual selected will work in the Department to teach four undergraduate or graduate courses per semester while also assisting with the service mission of the Department and the College. Potential courses may vary depending on department needs. The culture of the department is extremely collegial and faculty are well supported. What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A master’s degree in accounting, or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate hours in accounting.
  • A demonstrated commitment to supporting student learning and developmental experiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A professional certification in accounting, such as the CPA or CMA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • University-level teaching experience in accounting.
  • Professional work experience in accounting.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations.
  • Commitment to collegiality and a demonstrated ability to work as part of an effective and collaborative team member.
  • Commitment to understanding one's own experiences and perspectives as well as the experiences and perspectives of diverse others in an effort to cultivate strong relationships and collaboration.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
